The newest organization to partner with is the Goodwell Playground. Not only will this benefit the playground for the school but there is no other playground in the Goodwell community. The Goodwell Booster Club organization is requesting help with donating for a new playground. Not only will this benefit the playground for the school but there is no other playground in the Goodwell community. So when school is out for breaks and summer the playground is used for the community kids as well. The playground is in such bad shape that the school is at the point to not letting the kids play on it. Booster club Vice President, Chelsea Collins and a parent is concerned kids could get hurt. The playground was temporarily repaired with duct tape. The tape is wearing off and the boards have to be replaced often. The cracked slides are a hazard. The school is very proactive and applied for grants. Due to the low free/reduced lunch kid count the school is not eligible to receive grants. Goodwell is a small community with few small businesses and Oklahoma Panhandle State University. The Goodwell Booster Club asks you from the kids, school leaders, booster club, parents, teachers and community for your help.
