Crossroads Coaching/mentoring programs was established in 2018.

We operate as a 501(c)(3) organization under the Guymon Community Enrichment Foundation, generously funded by our local community. Our mission is to host monthly events for at-risk youth and their peers, ranging from movie outings and bowling to guest speakers and recreational activities, all aimed at providing a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Crossroads Coaching/Mentoring program is dedicated to supporting at-risk youth, aiming to
cultivate trust and guide them toward better decision-making. Our goal is to empower them to become
mentors themselves, thus contributing positively to their community.

Our dedicated team ensures smooth coordination of these events. Patsy Jones leads a parent support
group, providing vital information on event details and transportation.  Additionally, the youth manage
social media platforms to keep their peers informed and engaged.  They decide where the event will be,
the food for the event.  Robbie and I approve it and pay for it.

We have secured the use of the conference room at the Hooker Fire Department, and the Church of
Christ in Guymon as a valuable resource for our program.

We greatly appreciate when former participants return to share their success stories, offering hope and
guidance to our current youth.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to the Guymon Church of Christ, XTO, Henderson Farms, TCEC, Seaboard,
Fred’s Welding Service, Walmart, Pepsi, Z. Perkins, Puyear contractors and PTCI for their generous
contributions to our program.
